9th Blood and Fire[ | ]
9th Blood and Fire is a German Mechwarrior unit. It's one of the oldest German units. Apart from having fun in Mechgames, our aspiration is to improve and refine the teamplay and to compete with anyone (who dares ...) in a friendly manner.
History[ | ]
The origins of the 9th go back as far as the AOL-MPBT, where some of our current members used to be active within the 7th LCAF. After a short intermezzo with the "3025" beta, a longterm home was found with Mechwarrior 4. There the actual 9th Blood and Fire was founded. From that time on Yezibaba has rallied his Mechwarriors, several of the first are still in loyal duty. The 9th was present on public servers and within leagues alike, and participated with fun and success. In Particular:
- War Online (W!O) as Star League Nova Cats
- EBTL as Clan Hell Horses
- Mech Warrior League (Ranked as 9th Blood and Fire)
After the sunset of Mechwarrior 4 and a period of inactivity a few of the 9th former members regrouped in 2011, when a new mechgame was available: Mechwarrior Living Legends. The unit leaders initiated the reconstruction of the unit and a lot of new members joined. In expectation of another great mechgame, having a lot of fights and once more some kind of leagueplay the 9th moved to MWO at the start of the Closed Beta.
At April 2015 a blow of fate hit the unit. Founder and all time - unitleader Yezibaba died after short but heavy disease. He will be remembered for ever!
Roleplay[ | ]
We have no interests in roleplay. A distinctive quotation of Colonel 'The icebear' Yezibaba:" I want to play Mechgames, not write warstorys in forum boards. My warstorys are written out of a cockpit!"
Recruitement[ | ]
We are a German speaking unit and thus are recruiting German speaking players only. We want to have every member equally integrated and thus avoid any (language) barrier between members.

Foreign relations[ | ]
For a considerable time we have a very friendly relationship to the russian unit ELH. Since the start of MWO we also have good and friendly relations to Steel Jaguar Gaming, Sanguine Tigers and our friends from Italy Frati Mazzolattori. Also we have friendly relations to the White Death Mercenary Corporation and the Antares Scorpions.
