To MWOWIKI.ORG, the official[1]: un-official MechWarrior Online (MWO) Wikipedia - aka MechPedia.
The objective of this wiki is to archive information about MWO people may find useful or interesting and to make that information clear and easy to find. MWOWIKI.ORG is written collaboratively by largely anonymous Internet volunteers who write without pay. Anyone with Internet access can write and make changes to MWOWIKI.ORG articles, except in limited cases where editing is restricted to prevent disruption or vandalism. Users can contribute anonymously, under a pseudonym, or, if they choose to, with their real identity.
Since the creation of MWOWIKI.ORG in 2011, MWO moved from closed to open Beta phase. Since the curtain (of the 'what's_it_called?) is lifted more and more information is publicily released and finds its way to MWOWIKI.ORG. As of today, there are 1,564 articles available (see the statistics page for more information).
