Overview

The HBK-4SP is unique among the line of Hunchbacks. It spread its weapon evenly across its arms and torsos leaving it without the glaring weakness of other Hunchbacks.

Stock Loadout

The -4SP replaces the autocannon found on most Hunchbacks with two SRM 6s. These weapons are capable of inflicting more damage than a single AC/20 but work best to find and exploit holes in an enemy's armor. The SRMs are backed up by a quartet Medium Lasers and a Small Laser.

Strengths

When compared to the [[Hunchback HBK-4J], which shares a similar hardpoint loadout, the HBK-4SP splits it missile hardpoint among both torsos and moves nearly all of its energy weapons to both arms. This removes the glaring weakness of having most weapons mounted on one side of the 'Mech. It also means it can more effectively track fast targets with arm mounted lasers. Like all Hunchbacks, the -4SP possesses impressive torso twist range. After fully upgrading the Twist X Efficiency, the -4SP can in fact fire all four arm mounted weapons directly behind it relative to its legs.

Weaknesses

While the HBK-4SP does not concentrate its weapons in the right torso like most Hunchbacks, it does still share a large head hit box. To some degree though, the jutting shape of its side torsos provide more protection from its left side than other Hunchbacks.
