The Dragon was originally designed in a bid to replace the Shadow Hawk. After the 'Mech was turned down by the SLDF, the design was picked up by the Draconis Combine in 2754. The Dragon is primarily built for long-range combat but is capable of handling most threats that close to shorter ranges. With an unusually high ground speed, the Dragon is capable of dictating the ranges that an enemy can engage.

Description

Commonly known as the Grand Dragon, the DRG-1G changes the nature of the primary direct fire weapon from an autocannon to a Particle Projection Cannon. The PPC matches the range profile of the AC/5, but does twice the damage and frees the design of ammunition concerns for the autocannon. However heat can be a problem.

  • The Grand Dragon has not been confirmed to be added in the future as of yet. However, the Dragon DRG-Flame can recreate a close approximation of what the Grand Dragons hardpoints would likely look like.
