Overview[ | ]

The STK-3H drops the Large Lasers of the -3F model in favor of increasing its missile racks size to dual LRM 20s. It is otherwise unchanged from the original -3F.

Strengths[ | ]

This mech has only one strength compared to the other available Stalker variants: its arm mounted missile bays can fire 20 missiles at once instead of the usual 10. This means that the 3H is the best Stalker variant for mounting LRM 20 launchers as the other Stalkers will fire in 2 staggered volleys of 10 missiles, which results in reduced damage and more missiles getting shot down by Anti Missile Systems. The 3H comes with two LRM 20s in his stock configuration which means that no further C-Bills have to be spend to acquire the rather expensive launchers.

Weaknesses[ | ]

If you do not intend to run LRM 20s you are better off with a 3F (better torso twist), the 5S (2 AMS hardpoints) or the 5M (basically a significantly cheaper 5S with only one AMS and unique to this variant: A laser hardpoint in the Center Torso). These variants also have the same number of missile Hardpoints and more laser hardpoints than the 3H: five for the 5M and six for the 3F and 5S. Like the other Stalkers it only has one Module slot.
