The JR7-K can be directly compared to the . Both have identical movement profiles and have a similar hardpoint layout. Where the -D has two center torso mounted missile though, the -K has not one, but two additional module slots. Four arm mounted energy hardpoints make up the bulk of the available firepower though and allow the 'Mech to keep its weapons on target in rough terrain and while jumping through the air.

The JR7-K is a recent model for the Jenner that upgrades the JR7-D with armor. The lighter armor provides nearly the same protection, but allows the addition of for the ammunition, which increases the 'Mech's overall durability.

The JR7-K can match the speed of the fastest 'Mechs available. Four arm mounted energy weapons allows the -K to accurately strike up close and a single torso mounted missile hardpoint allows the 'Mech to mount hardhitting . Additionally, three module slots, four if you unlock the master , allows the 'Mech to take advantage of more modules than most available 'Mechs.

The JR7-K has one less missile hardpoint than the otherwise identical . As an end game 'Mech though, the inclusion of three - four module slots will more than make up for that however.
