The BattleMaster is a 85 ton assault 'mech originally released as part of the Phoenix collection. It is a 'mech capable of filling many roles, from energy boat to dedicated missile platform. Every variant is also capable of using an XL400, potentially making this one of the most agile assault 'mechs.
The BLR-1GHE Hellslinger is the Hero variant of the BattleMaster. It comes with an exciting paint job, six energy hardpoints, with one in each arm, and three missile hardpoints that are all in the left torso. It has no ballistic hardpoints. Like all Hero 'Mechs, the -1GHE can only be purchased with . It comes stock with Dual Heat Sinks. It also provides the same 30% bonus that all Hero 'Mechs do.
This is a missile-heavy BattleMaster variant. It comes stock with an LRM 15, an LRM 5, and two SRM 2 missile launchers in its four Missile hardpoints. As a tradeoff, it loses the arm-mounted energy and ballistic hardpoints and two of the side torso hardpoints.

The BLR-2C is the most nimble BattleMaster variant, with quirks that improve acceleration, deceleration, and turn rate. It comes stock with BAP, AMS and a Command Console.
This variant comes equipped with Double Heat-Sinks and upgrades the PPC to an ER PPC. It also trades one Ballistic hardpoint in the left arm for a second Energy hardpoint in the right arm. The addition of CASE protects the Center Torso in the event of an ammunition explosion.
The -3S comes stock with an XL Engine, providing the weight capacity to replace the PPC and Machine Guns with an LRM 20, as well as upgrade the six Medium Lasers to Medium Pulse Lasers. In addition, it adds CASE to protect the Center Torso from ammo explosions.
